A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to try Ford newest plug-in hybrid car, the Escape PHEV, through a gifted experience. I was able to enjoy smooth drives to work and go on small field trips. Having driven different kinds of cars before, I was able to compare this vehicle with the others and it was really first love at first drive!
Plug-in hybrid cars are perfect because you can roll on electricity for ‘short’ distances like driving to work, grocery stores, or going for errands. All you got to do is charge at home or at any public charging stations and you’ll never have to spend a single penny on gas on a daily! If ever you run out of electricity, it will automatically switch to gas so you don’t have to worry about forgetting to charge your car as well. By going hybrid, we are able to be environment-friendly and reduce greenhouse gases while still being able to drive long distances.
Here are some of my favorite features of the Escape PHEV as I drove it:
⚡️ – You can run on electricity for about 63km without spending on gas.
🗺 – The GPS direction and speed display on your windshield at your eye level.
💺 – Adjustable 2nd-row sliding seats
📱 – SYNC3 with apple and android phones
🌞 – Large vista roof that opens fully
🚗 – Smart Co-pilot technology (pre-collision assist, lane-keeping system, blind spot information system, etc.)
These features made my whole experience so convenient and comfortable. I charged the car every two days to go to work and grocery shop. With the gas price raising, having a plug-in hybrid car is an absolute must! After trying this car, I won’t be able to go back to any other car because it’s a real game-changer!
